In October, 1889, at the request of the eminent and well-known architect, Mr. T. M. My easiest plan, and the one which I should have followed, perhaps, to avoid the charge of pretentiousness, would have been to simply explain the practical work which comes in my line of business, and not tread on slippery ground by any analysis and theory. But two reasons obliged me to overlook this, and to enter into theory also. The first, and most important reason was, that to build an arch on this system, or build anything on the Cohesive System, presents two problems. One relates to the stability of the structure after being built; the other, and the main one, to getting the structure built. We may know that a construction on the Cohesive System will have stability when set; but to build it may be an insuperable problem.

I like this bible alot! I have another bible which I LOVE but, I wanted to add this one by Dr. Olukoya to my arsonal of weapons used to gain knowledge against the enemy and to gain More knowledge of God. I Love the prayers he has added to the bible and the articles he has taken the time to explain. This bible is a great addition and I'm growing in God and happy I found it!

Don't waste your time or $2.00

This is not a book - it is barely an article! It's a "how-to pussy foot around your abusive OCPD "partner". Nothing in this piece of garbage mentions the OCPD person recognizing, changing, or taking responsibility for some level of control over their behavior. If I were to believe what very little J.B. Snow has to say, I would feel terribly hopeless. I would not waste my money or time on any of her kindle "books" on the subject. Just ridiculous.

About the Author

John D. Cressler earned his BS from Georgia Tech in 1984 and his PhD from Columbia University in 1990. From 1984 to 1992, he was on the research staff at the IBM Thomas J. Watson Research Center, and from 1992 to 2002 he served on the faculty at Auburn University. An IEEE fellow, he joined the faculty at Georgia Tech in 2002, and is currently Schlumberger Chair Professor in Electronics in the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering. Dr. Cressler has published a number of nonfiction and historical fiction books. Together with his students, he has published more than 700 scientific papers. He has received the 2010 Class of 1940 W. Howard Ector Outstanding Teacher Award (Georgia Tech’s top teaching award), 2011 IEEE Leon Kirchmayer Graduate Teaching Award (the IEEE’s top graduate teaching award), and Class of 1934 Distinguished Professor Award (the highest honor Georgia Tech bestows on its faculty).

About the Author

Henry Garner

Henry Garner is a graduate from the University of Oxford and an experienced developer, CTO, and coach. He started his technical career at Britain's largest telecoms provider, BT, working with a traditional data warehouse infrastructure. As a part of a small team for 3 years, he built sophisticated data models to derive insight from raw data and use web applications to present the results. These applications were used internally by senior executives and operatives to track both business and systems performance. He then went on to co-found Likely, a social media analytics start-up. As the CTO, he set the technical direction, leading to the introduction of an event-based append-only data pipeline modeled after the Lambda architecture. He adopted Clojure in 2011 and led a hybrid team of programmers and data scientists, building content recommendation engines based on collaborative filtering and clustering techniques. He developed a syllabus and copresented a series of evening classes from Likely's offices for professional developers who wanted to learn Clojure. Henry now works with growing businesses, consulting in both a development and technical leadership capacity. He presents regularly at seminars and Clojure meetups in and around London.
